Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Your Pricing?

The hourly rate is $90/hour. Piano lessons often go overtime though I only charge for 1 hour.

I have never increased rates for any students, ever. What you sign up for is what you get.
Yes! I teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students.
Yes, at least a keyboard if you are a beginner. For more advanced students, they will need a high-quality electric piano or upright piano as they keys are heavier. Upright pianos are used in AMEB exams, so it is best to prepare for that. I can guide you on purchasing or renting one.

I’m easygoing, cancel whenever you please and if you miss it completely, you will not be charged. At the end of the day, it’s your progress.

Mostly at my home studio in Kogarah 2217. I do drive in some circumstances if students are close-by.

My piano lessons are clear, supportive and value packed.

We’ll go through the fundamentals, how to practice properly, and musicality. Most students go through AMEB and get A’s and A+ grades.

My communication is very clear and simple, and I use all kinds of imagery to help stick concepts in my piano students’ minds all the time. The lessons are fast-paced and energetic, we’re always learning.

My piano lessons often last longer than 1-hour, though I charge only an hour’s time.

My goal as piano teacher is for students to become their own teachers, so they can discipline themselves and learn anything they want.
